Learning centre Brussels
The largest of all learning centres is the one in Brussels! But don't worry. Jade, Nicole, Ria, Greet, the student workers and colleagues from KU Leuven will be happy to show you around. From the extensive library and handy collaboration spaces to the ultra-modern podcast studios, there is something for every type of student. Meet each other, learn together and create education, also at the learning centre in Brussels.
What your learning centre has to offer
Library collections
The library houses collections relevant to the programmes in Business Management, Teacher Training, Social Work and Healthcare. It also has a general collection with interesting reading material. Ideal for relaxation! Curious? View the catalogue via Limo.
Databases and learning platforms
Of course, you will also want to consult online sources. Thanks to our databases, thousands of high-quality articles are just a click away. We also offer various digital learning platforms for our teacher training students. Ideal for making a success of your internship!
Loaning of audiovisual materials
In addition to the library collections and study areas, the Learning Centre also has an AVM lending service. Forgot your laptop or need headphones? Then this is the place to go. Make your reservation via Cheqroom.
Work together in the collabs
You can work, study and do group assignments together in the collabs. Each collab has an interactive screen, which is super handy when you want to work on presentations.
Spel-o-theek
Looking for (educational) games to entertain your class? Visit the Spel-o-theek on the second floor. The Games Library has games for nursery, primary and secondary schools.
Study areas in the learning centre and Brussels
Spread over six floors, you can study among the bookshelves. There are a few fixed computers, but you can borrow extension cables at the desk. This means you can sit anywhere with your own laptop.
Is the learning centre closed, too busy, or do you just need a change of scenery? No worries. There are several other places in Brussels where you can study.
Finally, as an Odiseus student, you are always welcome in the KU Leuven libraries. You do need to reserve a study spot in advance via KURT.
