Learning centre Aalst
Step inside the Atrium, the brand new learning centre on the Aalst campus. Meeting, learning together and creating education: that's what it's all about here. Come and chill out in the armchairs and beanbags, practise group work in the collaboration areas, borrow materials to make your internship a success, create your own podcast, or study in peace and quiet. Elin, Janka and the student assistants are happy to help you.
What the Atrium has in store for you
Library collections
The Atrium has a library collection for every programme at the Aalst campus. It consists not only of books, but also magazines, games and teaching materials. Take a look at Limo and find out if the material you are looking for is available.
Databases and learning platforms
Of course, you will also want to consult online sources. Thanks to our databases, thousands of high-quality articles are just a click away. We also offer various digital learning platforms for our teacher training students. Ideal for making a success of your internship!
Loaning of audiovisual materials
In addition to the library, you will find an AVM lending service in the Atrium. Forgot your laptop or need a camera? Then this is the place to go. Make your reservation via Cheqroom.
Experiment in the podcast and video studio
Have you always wanted to experiment with video and podcasting? The Atrium has a fully equipped podcast and recording studio, which you can use free of charge as a student. Prepare a script in advance, invite any speakers, and finally receive a brief explanation to ensure a smooth recording. You can reserve the studios via TimeEdit.
Would you like to use the studios as an external user? That's possible. Just send an email to [email protected].

Throughout the year, we organise lectures, talks and workshops with our colleagues from Stuvo. Tackle your exam revision during a study café, be inspired by guest speakers, stop counting sheep during sleep workshops, and experience so much more.
All events are free for Odisee students, but registration is required.

If you park in the student car park and take side entrance A2 (floor 0), you will arrive directly at the Atrium.
If you arrive via the main entrance at reception (floor +1), take the first corridor on the right. Follow the signs for East. Take the coloured staircase down one floor. This will bring you to the Atrium (floor 0).
Find out here how to get from the student car park to the Atrium
The Atrium is spread over two floors. On the first floor, you will find the reception desk, the Teacher Training programmes collection, workspaces, a meeting room and the staff office. The second floor houses the collections of the other programmes, more workspaces, the studios and the group work room. Take a look at the floor plan.
Yes, you can! From 7:30, you can use the workspaces with your student or staff card. Scan your card at the entrance. The same principle applies after 17:00.
Please note that the library collections, AVM lending and studios are open from 8:30 to 17:00. They are closed before and after these times.
